BRUCE Tulley added to his long list of snooker titles last weekend.

The Mobberley A player won through a field of 16 players from throughout the Knutsford and District Amateur Snooker League to claim the Parkers Knutsford Removals Champions Trophy for the fourth time.

Tulley edged out Shaw Heath’s Jon Berry 2-1 in the best-of-three final to claim the trophy and the £75 cash prize, aided by a break of 30 along the way.

The finalists had earlier won through semi-finals – Tulley completed a marathon win over Mobberley A clubmate Paul Adkin while Berry edged out Mike Sullivan, who had the advantage of the tournament being played at his home club, Wilmslow Conservative Club.

All four had won through the group stage to reach the knockout phase, during which some fine snooker was played all-round.

Paul Hart’s break of 49 proved to be the top effort on the day, while there were also breaks of over 30 from Mark Newall and Graham Walls.

Beaten finalist Berry, who was taking part in his first KADASL competition, takes home £35 while the two losing semi-finalists both pocket £20.
