A MAN who got behind the wheel whilst being almost twice over the legal drug limit has been banned from the road.
Henry Garoui, of Goughs Lane, Knutsford, admitted drug-driving when the case was heard at Crewe Magistrates’ Court on April 23.
The 23-year-old was driving a vehicle on Manchester Road in Knutsford on October 1, last year, when he was stopped by the police.

A subsequent blood test recorded Garoui had no less than than 3.5ugL of Delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol, an ingredient of cannabis, in his blood.
The limit for this breakdown product is 2ug/L.
Garoui was disqualified from driving for 16 months.
Disqualification is obligatory for drug-driving offences, the court heard.
The defendant was also fined £300 and ordered to pay £120 costs and £120 victim surcharge.
Magistrates took his guilty plea into consideration when imposing the sentence.
Garoui was given until June 21 to pay the £540 court penalty.
