KNUTSFORD Academy pupil Lucas Lee has been showing his talent in Brazilian jiu jitsu as he picked up a medal at a national tournament.
The 14-year-old brought home a bronze medal in the Gi category having competed at middleweight in the Teen 2 Division.
Lucas was joined at the championships by two of his teammates from the Second Nature Jiu Jitsu club, which is based in Northwich.
Eben Loftus, 16, won gold medals in both the Gi and No Gi categories in the Lightweight Juvenile Division – all by submission – while 17-year-old Charlie Yates was a gold medallist in Gi and won No Gi silver in the Middleweight Juvenile Division.
Further afield, two of the club’s members brought medals home from Italy having competed in the IBJJF Milan Open.
Callum Grassby, 20, took Gi silver in the adult super-heavy division while Kieran Forshaw, also 20, claimed No Gi bronze at adult middleweight.
